1930 Watling Blue Seal w/ Side Vender - 5c

Originally the Blue Seal was a good seller for Watling, so today they are found on occasion. However, it is very rare to find one with the side vender still present. This particular nickel machine still has that rare side vender still intact!
This machine was found in a barn in New Mexico and is completely dry. We have lubricated the mechanism and it works but could still use some TLC. Both the machine and vender are both missing the back doors. While the machine itself is working, it is in need of a restoration or the mechanism could be used for another machine. No cracks or breaks in the castings, but the left side of the cabinet has been replaced. Just the vender itself would make a great addition to another machine if desired.

SOLD
1941 Mills Horsehead Bonus - 10c

Very nice all original and perfectly working machine. I have tuned and lubricated this machine so everything including the Bonus feature functions flawlessly. This is a very late example made right before WWII. The lower casting and bonnet are cast iron. The upper front casting is aluminum. The upper casting does have steel reinforced edges that I believe are Mills factory installed. These have been put on perfectly and the inside drill proof plating has never been removed. The upper casting shows no damage so these were apparently used to simply strengthen the machine. Payouts are correct, original Mills back door, replacement lock, original cash box. Very nice machine rarely seen in this nice of original condition!

SOLD
1935 Jennings Sportsman Golf Ball - 25c

Many people don't realize that during the 1930's most of the slot machine manufacturers made in very limited numbers slot machines that would pay out in golf balls rather than money. Probably the first company to do this was Jennings. This 1935 model is in great condition and a perfect example of one of these rare machines. Typically only sold to golf clubs during the 1930's, these 25c machines would allow the player to gamble for 3 to 20 balls per quarter play. Today very few of these unique machines remaining!

SOLD
1930 Jennings Victoria Electrovender - 5c
How about this unique and truly rare Jennings machine!  Jennings made very few of these as they were really way before their time. This model has a motor inside that cycles the mechanism after a coin is dropped in. A small handle is pushed which activates the motor. Currently the motor or probably a contact is not working. The mechanism operates smooth though. The front casting as well as the oak cabinet is much larger than the standard Victoria Model B machine making it a heavy machine!

If you are a Jennings collector or someone that likes the unique and rare machines, this one is for you!

1923 Mills Operator Bell - 25c
(With Original Shipping Crate)
During the 1920's Mills was the king of slot machine manufacturers. Their main machine was the Operator Bell and worked great them, operators and players alike.

During this time Mills would date their machine by putting the year of manufacturer on the front. This machine is no exception with the year 1923 visible in the flowing scroll work of the lower castings.

While these Operator Bells were made in fairly large numbers, very few were made in 25c play. Just think, during the depression, how many people were playing 25c machines?

In addition to this machine being a very hard to find quarter play example, this machine also comes with the original shipping crate! In slot machine collecting, this is totally unheard of to find a machine from the 1920's with it's original shipping crate. The combination of the machine and the crate make a great display and conversation piece!

This machine was most likely given a paint job during the 30's. The oak cabinet is red and the castings have a very old silver paint on them. All of this is so old, it looks like factory work. Overall this machine plays perfect and is all original. You just won't find another machine with the shipping crate like this!
